Candy Cane Cookies
What a great cookie these twisted candy canes would be to take your traditional Christmas cookie swap! And these sweets are perfect for the December food holiday on the 26th known as National Candy Cane Day.
The cookies are made from two colors of cookie dough and shaped like candy canes. Your kids will love to help you make (and eat) them.
They are also the perfect cookie to make for Baked Cookies Day this year!

1/3 cup softened cream cheese

Red food coloring
1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract
